I came to Mastro Auctions (formerly MastroNet) when it merged with Ron Oser Enterprises, which had been my employer for 20 years. I began with Ron Oser in 1980, and through the 80’s I managed the daily operation of several comic book and baseball card stores for him in the Philadelphia area. When Mr. Oser closed the stores and went to work for several of the new and burgeoning collectible auctions, I came with him. In the 1990’s, I designed the first computer program used to take bids in the sports memorabilia auctions. My database was eventually used for bidding, inventory, accounting, writing checks to consigners, printing labels and doing whatever else was necessary. I oversaw every aspect of the business including financial accounting, bidding, inventory and consigners.
